Ingredients:

HERCULES Corn Flakes 200g HERCULES Corn Flakes

  • 120g butter
  • 120g powdered sugar

Cooking method:

Step
  1. Grind HERCULES corn flakes into flour.
  2. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add corn flour and fry for 20-25 minutes, stirring constantly over medium heat – the flour and butter will darken a little. Add the powdered sugar and fry, stirring constantly, for about 5 more minutes, so that the powder combines with the mixture.
  3. Cool the finished halva a little and put it into a mold using tablespoon, and tamping.
  4. Place the mold to the fridge until it cools completely.
  5. There are 2 ways to serve halva:
    • you can cool it in one large mold, lined with cling film, then take it out and cut into pieces,
    • or put in portions to small molds and serve with whipping cream or an ice cream ball.

Tip: halva goes well with herbal tea.
