Buckwheat cake with berry jam

Ingredients:

HERCULES Buckwheat Flakes 125g HERCULES Buckwheat Flakes

  • 100g ground almond
  • 125g butter
  • 125g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • a smidgen of salt
  • 150g jam

Cooking method:

Step
  1. Grind HERCULES buckwheat flakes into flour. Combine buckwheat flour from flakes, ground almonds, sugar and salt in a deep bowl and mix them.
  2. Add butter, eggs and knead a uniform dough.
  3. Put the dough into a baking mold. Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for 30-40 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden stick – it should come out dry.
  4. Divide the finished cake into two cake pans. Put berry jam on one cakepan, and cover it with second cake pan.
